Only the Lan devices or all? I mean even wi fi devices?
Remove means that I can simply switch off the devices?
Both the LAN- and WiFi devices. Switch everything off except Hardware in rooms 1 and 2 and the Bartók of course. The plan is to start with minimal configuration.
Ok
So I keep Nas and iMac switched on right?
Yes, exactly. Good luck!
Done
Same problem
Did You delete the mosaic app and reinstalled it?
No!!
I will re-try
Very strange
Digging though your iPhone console logs may be the best bet at solving this. In your full capture log, at around the 17:10:09.687845 time mark Mosaic becomes a background suspended task and then soon after at around the 17:10:40.820190 time mark, it seems to get shutdown completely.
The log timestamps show gaps, so presumably something wrong is happening without the “dcs” text somewhere before or during the above time stamps.

Hi Anup I have re-done the copy of the console in a more clear, I think, way.
No filter in these ones.
HI Carsten I re-try to switch off all the devices as soon as I can.
Stefano
Maybe this could be useful too.Dcs Activity.pdf (75.3 KB)
Thanks Stefano, looks like Mosaic is crashing due to a memory fault. Why exactly is unclear
Here’s the sequence of timestamp events as seen in your “Dcs All Messages” log file;
- Seems Mosaic was already running before the log capture starts (instantiated as process PID 21838)
- @ 08:38:23.474726 Mosaic App brought to the front
- @ 08:38:23.488222 Connection to Bartok’s Stream board confirmed
- @ 08:38:23.991152-24.237484 a bunch of service discovery
- @ 08:38:24.975486 iOS kernel’s first warning about Mosaic’s excessive memory usage
- @ 08:38:24.983060 iOS kernel’s 2nd warning about Mosaic’s excessive memory usage
- @ 08:38:25.074062 iOS kernel says Mosaic is exceeding memory limit
- @ 08:38:25.084474 iOS kernel kills Mosaic
- iOS cleans itself up
I can’t tell why Mosaic is behaving oddly on your iPhone. I’m guessing the dCS team might have a better view
Hi Anup thank you very much!
Anup has certainly invested plenty of time for his analysis. It‘s remarkable how many good people are in the dCS community helping others. It‘s fun to browse.
Stefano, You reported that the dealers Bartók worked fine with Your iPhone, is that correct? So, in other words, Your Mosaic worked in an other environment.
You could cross-match that: if You have a neighbour or friend nearby, ask him for a test on his iPhone.
Hi Carsten.
Yes my Mosaic has worked with the Bartok’s dealer.
I am sorry but I don’t have friends at all with a Bartok.
Normally they say that are listening to very well with WiFi o Bluetooth Bose device
I think he meant to ask a neighbor if they could run Mosaic on their phone on your system. At least, that’s what I would do.
But You certainly have a neighbour or friend with an iPhone. Ask him to come to You, testing Your Bartók with his iPhone, having a glas of wine together.
As I think about it Carsten, that should have probably been one of our earlier suggestions.
