Can I use upsampler to update dac?

DAC USB Board should be 1.00. you mentioned that this port does not operate. I don’t think it is a USB driver issue . If you look at Mosaic Device screen DAC USB Audio Class should show USB class 1 or Class 2. even if there is no connection to the port. Can you see this?

I think that the OP was referring to using Upsampler/Mosaic to update DAC as per his first screenshot showing an update option for the network board.

Good question. I’d imagine it would be ok to jump straight to 2.11, but more appropriate for @James or someone from dCS to comment about going direct to the latest firmware.

Yes he can. I thought there had been a previous thread on this and James said in July '20

Yes, you can update from 2.00 to 2.10 on the DAC in one go, you don’t need to update to 2.02 first.

James had a typo there, 2.10 should read 2.11.

Is this with the RS323 cable linking the units as your screenshot looks like the upsampler is only finding itself. Basically the screen in your shot should look similar to this:

Mine screen only shows the upsampler.
That’s why I think it lost the driver. Hope update to 2.11 will make some good changes.

I will keep my fingers crossed for you. You may be right as we do know that v.2.01 DAC and v.2.10 Upsampler cannot communicate according to the 2.11/2.10 release notes.
