I’m a bit late to ‘the party’, but I agree that this is an excellent album.

Saw this recommended in the equivalent of this thread on the Naim forum. Described as folkish country or countryish folk. On a review it was called Americanoir which sums it up very nicely.
Bernard Haitink, Chicago Symphony Orchestra “Mahler: Symphony No. 6” 2009, Qobuz 16/44.1
Loving these CSO recordings. 15 years old and redbook only but worthy performances and demonstration SQ IMHO.

Yunchan Lim, Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, Marin Alsop “Rachmaninoff: Piano Concerto No. 3 (Live from the 2022 Cliburn Competition)” 2025, Qobuz 24/48
Wow, this one is a rare treat audio siblings. An astonishing performance of the Rach 3 which unsurprisingly won Yunchan Lim (then 18 years old) the 2022 Cliburn. A nice little bonus is that afaik it is the first recording I have ever posted here conducted by a woman. About time!
Kudos and thanks to Charlotte Gardner (whom I am very much hoping to meet one day) for highlighting this in her May Classical Choices. blog. Absolutely outstanding stuff.

As a Springsteen fan I was anticipating for this collection of 7 albums to be released. Excellent SQ,makes me wonder why they were never releases before. Have not listened all of them yet but personal favourite up until now is album nr 5, Inyo, which is the same style as his Ghost of Tom Joad album.
