Oh, the things that record companies get their musicians to do! Above we have the star in a homemade car/pram (great album though), and here is “El Rey de los Timbales” holding a banana next to a man in a gorilla suit (but it’s also a good album). No wonder Puente looks a little bemused.

IMO, this is a great edition of an iconic live performance, including the signature opening track, ‘Compared to What’.
Great stuff, especially considering that they had never played, or rehearsed, together before. Truly remarkable!
