I’m still digging into my library to find albums, such as this, that I really should play more often…

My problem is that I buy so much music, that I tend to listen to the recent acquisitions and don’t look though my existing library often enough.
I suppose that’s human nature…

It’s now time for me to listen to some more old favourites from my HDTT library…

I don’t listen to a lot of country, it’s really not my thing. But I put on John Denver’s greatest hits for the first time on my Rossini and all of this detail I never knew existed came jumping out at me. To my mind, John Denver’s acoustics and lyrics reflect a gentle, kind soul, and are a nice tonic in today’s world.

I was 11 years old!

This is probably my favourite funk album. I like all of the tracks, but ‘Superman Lover’ is my overall favourite.

I think that it’s a good recording too, especially considering that it’s a 1976 release (from the Shout! Factory label).
