Hi my non apex Rossini fail to update for 3 times. It show unable to download package after attempting to download for a while.
Please advice.
Did you reboot your Rossini, using the toggle power switch on the back of the unit (leaving it powered down for at least 30 seconds), prior to attempting the Mosaic firmware update?
The unit was off for 2 weeks as i was traveling it was just on awhile ago do you still i need to reboot?
Yes, I suggest that you reboot.
Presumably, you have downloaded the latest version of the Mosaic iOS/Android app?
If not, you will need to do soā¦
Mosaic was latest as per updated from Playstore. That was when i decided to check the Rossini for any update.
The Rossini seems to be downloading now.

Seems I am having some trouble with this. It upgraded the network firmware but the app remains at 1.4.2 and it says no updates are needed.
Is the app update offline?
All is good sir. The download is almost 1 hour. Firmware unpacked and run itself after which a prompt to perform a manual reboot and viola.

Figured it out. Just an app store redownload.
Did you update the mosaic app in app stores or playstore.

Have you refreshed the app?
I donāt use Android but, for iOS, in the App Store, it necessitates accessing updates by pressing oneās profile button (top right of the screen), then swiping down to refreshā¦
which should then show all apps with available updates.

I have tried several times, but no update for me. I keep getting an error message!
But as i donāt use Tidal, i suppose it might not be a great loss.
What does the error message say?
Even though youāre not a Tidal user (as Iām not), the upgrade should be worthwhile, especially if you use UPnP, as I do, for the vast majority of my listening,
Make sure you donāt commit the same silly mistake as me. Do not Tidal Connect/Roon playing music and expect the download to be successful. It will fails each and everytime until you stop connecting Tidal Connect or Roon to the DAC.
If you are having problems updating your units to the new firmware or you are having problems getting the latest Mosaic then can you PLEASE contact me on [email protected] - itās very difficult to work out who is having issues within a forum thread and I would also like to get some additional information from those people who ARE having issuesā¦
