For those of us who drive their power amps directly from our DACs it would be great to have a feature where either volume offsets can be preset for each input (treating streaming sources as individual inputs) or a broader volume normalisation feature which normalises the average signal level across inputs without compression.
The perfect setup for me would be a macro control on Mosaic that when I change inputs the 1) upsampler selects the input 2) the dac selects the output voltage I previously saved in the app & 3) the dac is set to a volume level that I also previously saved in the app. This method eliminates creating new firmware for the hardware.

Someone, some time ago, mentioned it would be nice if Mosaic implemented Leedh processing to handle volume control. But no idea whether or not dCS is interested in doing so ?
I believe they might have looked but if there is anything further, then in dCS fashion, they keep it close to their collective chests. NIH ?
