Varese User Interface display issue

Hello,

I had the Varese system in standby mode for a couple of days when I was out of town and I turned it on last night to be greeted by a user interface display that would flash on and off. Everything still works musically but the screen is extremely bright and turns off and on every second or so. I’ve tried factory resetting the system, turning the entire system off then on and unplugging only the user interface to restart it alone. Nothing I’ve tried has changed the issue. The last thing I can think of is reinstalling the latest firmware but I haven’t looked for the files online yet.

My audio dealer is closed on Mondays and there was no tech support in the queue when I called dCS.

edit: There have been no power issues at my home that could have helped cause the issue.

Hi @Borderdog, That doesn’t look right at all.

It will be easiest to help you with this in direct communication with support so please could you email this to [email protected].

Please include the serial number of the unit, which firmware it is running (you can see this from “About your Varese” in Mosaic ACTUS) as well as the state of the UI LED (which is on the rear of the UI) when the screen is doing this.

It would also help to know where you are based and which dealer you purchased it from.

Email sent with firmware version 1.2.2, UI led (solid white) and location/dealer. I included a short video and the system logs as well.
