I use Tidal in the Mosaic app but from some weeks now I can’t get access to my tracks library. I can access to the albums, playlist but not the tracks. It’s starts downloading and it gets stuck to a point and crush. I already logout and login but still the same.
Have you tried removing Mosaic app and re-install it.
Do you already have the latest version of Mosaic

Try switching off your dCS DAC, switch on the back, leave it off for a few minutes and switch it back on, see if it works after a fresh new start, if not better to send an email to dcs support

This is currently with the software guys being looked into … so far it seems like a malformed list being returned from the streaming service but I haven’t had that confirmed.

Any word on this? I use tracks all the time. This is a major inconvenience! I guess I can use the Tidal app and then use Tidal Connect, but I don’t like switching back and forth with Mosaic and Tidal.
Is this self healing?
I tried it again a few days ago and it was working.

Actually, kind of … it’s a malformed list that is being returned from the streaming provider and whatever it is in that list that is causing the issue is something that is coming from their end as part of the list that they are returning to us.
The software guys here are looking at how they can ruggedise the code in Mosaic that handles those lists to try to but as we can’t get access to any of the malformed lists directly (they are generated on the fly by the streaming service provider) we don’t know exactly what it is in what they are returning that is causing the issue and - as you have seen - it’s not consistent. If the list itself changes then the list that is returned from the streaming provider may then no longer be malformed and it will then display correctly.

Ah ok. I looked up Tidal APIs, and they look like simple REST calls using OAuth2. If I get motivated enough, I may try these requests and see what they return normally and when it breaks. And then compare.

The update doesn’t change anything to do with the malformed lists being returned from the streaming services - it adds support for Qobuz Connect.
The software guys are still looking into whether they can do something about it from our end by modifying the list rendering engine or whether it is something that Airable / TIDAL need to resolve so that’s still in progress.
As @StoogeMoe has already found out, the list is totally down to the streaming service and so if the list that they return changes for any reason (if you modify the list for example) then the list can then just “fix itself” and render correctly again.
I hope that helps explain why updating your unit hasn’t make any changes to your list still not displaying…

A few days ago, I had the same problem, so I deleted the tidal mosaic app and reinstalled it, and my problem was solved.

Unfortunately the issue that causes the problem with the list isn’t with Mosaic and reinstalling the app itself can’t change the list being returned from TIDAL … if the list being returned from TIDAL has changed (which I suspect in your case it has done) then that is how that issue resolves. (As @StoogeMoe found.) …but I’m glad that your issue has resolved
Just to confirm - the problem has been logged with the software guys here, I’m not sure whether it is something that they can find a solution to handling within Mosaic or whether it has been reported back up to Airable / TIDAL for them to deal with.

I discussed this issue with the software team yesterday in our regular meeting and I was told that the issue has been flagged back to the streaming providers AND a workaround for the issue (which should prevent it from happening from our end) will be included in the next release of Mosaic …
Please be aware that at this time I don’t yet have a release date for the next release of Mosaic.
