Rossini and Tidal playback issues

Hi,

I have recently experienced some new odd behaviour using Tidal connect through the Rossini. Im using the Tidal interface, not the Mosaic.

In the last 2 weeks, after a rather large Tidal update, the communication between the two have become extremely slow. Playback is fine, but switching songs or playlists is now next to impossible/very slow(read up to 30sec) before any response. If I go to the Mosaic app, the response is immediate, hence my thinking there might be a communication issue with the connect feature.

This is new behaviour and my question is if anyone else has this experience or if it might be a communication issue to the streamer(caused by the latest updates from Tidal)?

If so, are there any measures I can take to rectify this(I have tried reconnecting and restarting both clock and dac)?

My Rossini(non apex) is currently in version 3u00 (beta), but it has behaved without fault until this lates change. Loving it so hoping to keep it until the new official fw release.

I know there are big changes at Tidal and in their organisation and I will not be surprised if these effects originate there.

This appears from your description likely to be the result of Tidal revisions at their end. To ensure that dCS are made aware of this it is best that you contact them directly at the email address below. Otherwise it is not guaranteed that they will stumble across this in the forum .

Give them the serial number of our Rossini, your location and a description of exactly what the fault is.

I used Roon/Tidal almost daily and have had no issues or delays with my Vivaldi.
