I think its working here in az. Unless i misunderstand i was using qobuz app direct to my vivaldi last night
Wasnât it AirPlay maybe? You select it from the very same devices list. I can use AirPlay to send music to my BartĂłk, it shows up in the devices list but as an AirPlay device, that has been working for a long time, but thatâs not the same as Connect.
With AirPlay, the music data is sent from the phone to the device, you canât go past CD quality. Or better said, you most probably can setup higher res formats in the app, but what gets sent canât surpass CD quality per design. With Connect the streamer gets the music data from Qobuzâs servers, just like if you were using Mosaic. 192/24 is of course supported.
Did you get a software update for your Vivaldi recently? Because if not I seriously doubt you have Connect support.
Last BartĂłk update was the one adding Tidal FLAC, that was about 1 year ago.
Im not certain. What i know for sure is when i changed mosaic to my transport vivaldi didnt switch back to aes3&4 automatically and i needed to do that manually. I only listened for a few minutes as im spinning vinyl and cds before i hit the sack
Since @Phil has posted on this thread, yet has not provided any comment or answer as to when this will be implemented, I stand by my comment above. My guess is all will be revealed next week at Munich and for nowâŚâŚmum is the wordđ
We donât have Qobuz Connect implemented in any products currently. It is being actively worked on and is very high up our development queue, so we hope to have some news for you soon.
Hi @glevethan
It is normal that you guys speculate on things and itâs great that you do because it means that youâre interested and excited about where dCS are going but, whether I know anything or not of what is being speculated upon, unless something has been officially announced then I cannot make comment ⌠Itâs often hard because weâre all passionate about what we do but it has to be a simple âUnless an official announcement has been made then I canât get drawn in to a discussionâ.
@James has put up a status on Qobuz Connect above so I hope that does answer those queries for you.
Cheers allâŚ
Fantastic! Thanks for the update.
Totally understandable.
And then all of a sudden today, thereâs a new kid on the block.
It looks fantastic. I really like the idea of direct connect to an amp. Perfect for my office.
Congratulations Team dCS!
At USD 0.00 itâs an attractive proposition fur sure.
Sorry to sideline into politics howeverâŚ.probably waiting for Trumps âbigâ announcement of a tariff deal with the UKđ

Does dCS support Qobuz Connect as a streaming option? Iâve been using the Mosaic app since its inception but am curious if the Qobuz Connect option provides a better user experience from a SQ or artist/track information perspective.
Hi Brian. If you had been reading this forum over the past few weeks you would have found earlier threads regarding this such as:
Qobuz Connect is finally out of beta! Is dCS ready?
Currently the position is :
Q. Is there Qobuz Connect dCS support?
A. Not yet.
Q. Will there be?
A. Yes.
Q. When?
A. To be announced later by dCS. This will probably involve a Mosaic revision.
Can you give us an idea when this will be, please?
I am eager to try Qobuz Connect!
Will there be any affect on SQ?
Our friends at Qobuz jumped the gun slightly here. Weâre working on it but itâs not quite ready yet.
With all due respect to dCSâŚ.I find this a bit strange.
Qobuz Connect has been a known quantity for a long time - everyone has been aware of the fact they have been working on it.
MANY brands were out early, while others are waiting for the official announcement to release firmware updates this week.
They fact dCS are ânot ready yetâ, as I posted above, is strange (imho)
carry on
Well I guess whatâs important is that when it is made available itâs reliable, robust and integrates well with everything else. We can wait a bit longer for that.
