Problems with the dCs Mosaic app

Hello:

I’ve installed the Mosaic App on my Xiaomi tablet. From inception, the app has problems locating the Bartok DAC. Every time at start up I’ve had to select a different device and manually enter my IP address. The app recognizes the Bartok and starts playing music. But after a brief period of time, it loses connection again and once again, I need to manually input my IP address.

My Bartok has a wired connection to the network and the Xiaomi tablet is on the same network as the Bartok. When I use a Mac Mini as a server and use the Bartok with Roon, this does not happen. The issue seems Mosaic specific.

I’d appreciate it if you could tell me what I am, doing wrong.

This type of issue is a pretty common one reported here, In virtually all cases the solution lies with your network and its configuration rather than with Mosaic or the dCS unit.
