Hi I have a problem with Network Bridge after the 523 firmware update.
I use iPad and a MConnect HD (a third party UPnP app) to stream Tidal/Qobuz.
It has been working fine until the 523 update; now I have a problem with pressing the “stop” button in the app - the music stopped for a split second, but then start again from the beginning of the track, and I have no way of stopping the music again (via MConnect HD or Mosaic App) unless I turn off the Network Bridge, or find another track to play.
All apps and iOS are up to date. I have turned off and restarted the Network Bridge and my iPad (and exited the app) multiple times, the problem remains.
Appreciate your help looking into this.
Thanks
Simon
Both Mosaic and m connect are exhibiting this issue. Correct? The common link is that both control apps are being run from an iPad. Is that right?
So initially at least this looks like your iPad is not connecting when the “stop” command is sent.
I an’t comment on that third party app. However you say that all apps are up to date. That is a little vague so have you updated Mosaic app to v. 1.44? I ask as there have been issues with old iPads which are now basically outdated and no longer supported by Apple. This affects all manner of app updating not just dCS. So, which iPad do you have and now old? What version of iOS is it running?
Thanks. I know about the pause button but you referred to it as stop in your post. Anyway my concern that you were unable to update the iPad due to age seems to have been dealt with. However it still looks like the command ( pause or stop) is not functioning.
I have known this from time to time with app 1.43. If you close Mosaic then reopen it does this fix it ?
Is the issue that you are having only when you use MConnect to stream TIDAL / Qobuz or do you get the same issues if you use MConnect on other sources?

–>. there was no issue if I use MConnect on other sources
Do TIDAL and Qobuz work correctly via Mosaic?
→ yes, it works on Mosaic, given there was no “stop” button in Mosaic. I just press pause if I need to stop.
MConnect is not an application that we test against so I can’t say what will be done here but I’ll log the issue and let the software guys know - you say this is definitely something that has changed since the previous v513 release?
