Problem connecting Dcs mosaic to Tital

Mosaic’s not working? Anyone has this problem lately? Can’t check for the update. It said “Failed to download Manifest”. I think I’m running on the latest version 1.4.4

Could you kindly tell us exactly what you are trying to do? Are you trying to download or update Mosaic from App Store or Google?

There is no new update to Mosaic. It is currently v. 1.4.4 which you say that you already have. If you are checking if there is an update via the one already installed in your dCS unit ( Support/Versions) then it should result in the message " No Update Available" and not the message that you cite.

If you are trying to do something else then please clarify.

My mosaic has not been working few hours ago from all my phone and ipad. It can’t connect to tidal or Qubuz. I can play song from Spotify or other app like Tidal connect or Jplay through my Dcs rossini but not Tidal on dcs mosaic. When I try to update mosaic to check if new version available, normally if there is no update, it will show no update available but not this time. It shows that message.

Thanks. I have never come across that " Manifest" message. It seems that it appears when you try to update from your existing Mosaic. You are trying to find an update to solve the issue that you cannot connect to Tidal or Qobuz via Mosaic. Can you find stored files via UPnP? Are you able to find radio stations via airable in Mosaic? If you can use UPnP but not find radio stations, Tidal or Qobuz tvia Mosaic hen this may be a local issue with airable ( it also supplies those streaming services to Mosaic). If so you may find it is corrected in a a few hours.

If Qobuz, Tidal and radio stations are unavailable via Mosaic but everything else is OK then that does sound like an airable issue. However it leaves the question for hat " Failed to Download Manifest" message given in Mosaic when trying see if there is an update. Perhaps soemone else has an answer?

If Mosaic is looking for a firmware update it is looking for Manifest on the dCS server to download it. IF there is a firmware update, this is what is going on inside:

IF there is NO firmware update, it reports “Failed to Download Manifest”.

Not quite actually Erno.

(Not the first time a user has encountered this “Failed to download Manifest” error). It’s usually associated with some Internet glitch of some kind. Explained in the following thread;

The Manifest file contains a list the latest firmware applicable to each of the current dCS platforms (along with some other dCS access-control information)
