i have just adquired a Paganini upsampler, it has versions:
contro version 1.01
display vers 1.20
1394/usb vers 4.02
i am trying updating 1.20 firmware from a cd transport (old Marantz) and via USB.
WIth transport appears wrong disc and with usb in the upsampler appears 1.20 version but does nothing. Does not appear reading of blocks.
Can i upgrade from 1.01 to 1.20 directly or do i need to upgrade to 1.10?
The track has a duration of 57 seconds not 32 min.
May be i have not burnt the image well?

Solved, its no easy, you must play the file with media player, not foobar.
Then the file has a duration of 33 minutes.
Later you must turn off and switch off the power cable, put in dsd mode and then updates 1394, but you must switch the cable off.
