New ISP -other IP range Vivaldi

I just changed ISPs. Both fiber. New router is a Fritzbox 7530 AX, which gives out IP addresses in a different range from my previous one, i.e. I have gone from 192.168.1.x to 192.168.178.x.

No big deal you would think, but then I tried to reach my Vivaldi upsampler. I switched it off and back on again, but still I can only find it using Mosaic when I input the address manually. I deleted the old address. Now every single time I use Mosaic it doesn’t find the Vivaldi, and I have to go to the manual ip adress input. What’s going on / how do I fix this?

Strange. If your router is acting as a DHCP server the Vivaldi should pick up an address automatically after a restart. You could log on via the web interface and double check that DHCP is enabled in Network Settings and even do a “Reset Streaming Interface” in Device Settings, although of course the latter would happen anyway when you power cycle.

Thanks Andrew, that did the trick. Did a reset through the web interface, then power cycled and after that it found it right away. I needed to input my Qobuz account data again, but seems rock solid now and better than ever.

Mosaic used to need to find the device again after a while of use or switching apps, this seems to have really gotten rid of any old things now.
