My DCS Bartok no longer connects to my network

That’s a first for me too. I can only guess the surge took out the isolation transformers.

As had I. I think the moral of the story for me is to remember to ask the question!

The alternative being to ask the question in a different way … I THINK (without going to check the actual conversation that we had so I may be totally wrong) that I phrased it as “Can you plug your Bartok directly into your Router as a test…”

Luckily, I had a small BlueOS DAC I could carry around the network to test things. The DCS is really heavy.

One of several advantages of the Bartók over the Vivaldi (like cables and rack space)!

I’ve seen problems with this as a result of supporting mDNS being considered optional. Usually caused by the kind of routers ISP’s like to provide… I’m hoping they’re better now!
