I recently upgraded my Vivaldi DAC to Apex status, and now the music is cutting out when streaming from Tidal on the Mosaic app. I have not had that problem before, and nothing else in the system has changed. I also do not have any problems streaming Tidal tracks via a Roon Nucleus, so I don’t believe it’s a problem with Tidal or a hardware problem with my Vivaldi upsampler or my network equipment (all of which I rebooted). I don’t see how upgrading the DAC could affect the Mosaic streaming performance, but maybe I’m missing something?
Never mind – my Vivaldi upsampler needed an internet update. Now, everything seems to be working fine.
I guess the fact the update issue only manifested itself after the Apex upgrade was merely a coincidence.
