After installing a recent Windows 11 update (Windows ver 25H2 [OS Build 26200.7623]) the Bartok no longer shows up as a “Sound Output” device on my Dell PC, and is not shown in Device Manager. There’ve been no hardware or cable changes. Is there a driver I can install?
Windows has had a built-in USB 2.0 driver since Windows 10 Version 1703 (ca April 2017), no additional driver required. Sounds like the update left the system in some sort of inconsistent state.
I would restart the Dell and toggle the USB Audio Class on your Bartók to Class 1 and then back to Class 2 (Mosaic hamburger menu/Device or front panel) which will reset it.
