Is it better for SQ to have the modum 1 meter from my Bartok, and a 75’ coaxial cable run from modum to my telephone network box, , or better SQ with a 75’ Cat 8 wire run from a modum placed near the telephone network box ?

Honestly, it makes no difference. Put your cable modem wherever it makes the most sense in your household.
I would caution against using a CAT8 or other shielded ethernet cable to connect directly to your cable modem, though, as the shield will connect the cable company’s ground to your audio system. This could lead to a lot of unneeded noise on the ground plane of your system.
Stick with unshielded network cables.
