At dCS, we have always believed that clock stability is much more important than absolute frequency accuracy. Comparisons between a Vivaldi Master Clock and an external Rubidium clock revealed that the system sounded much better locked to the Vivaldi Clock. This suggests that the Vivaldi Clock has better jitter performance (better short-term stability).
