Dcs scarlatti transport display FFC cable

Hello everyone.
The 22-pin display FFC cable is damaged.
Does anyone know the model number?

Can the display and FFC cable be detached?
Thank you for your continued support.

FFC cables are fairly easily available in the open market. If you know it’s damaged, that means you know the cable length and conductor width/pitch of the original, you should be able to get a replacement. Common ones are like 50mm width and 0.5mm conductor pitch.

Thank you.
I’ve uploaded the photos.
Could you take a look?
The Scarlatti DAC appears to use the same wiring.

I see that you are a new member of the forum so welcome.

However, questions like this:

Indicate that you are unfamiliar with this type of thing. How did a cable that is normally sealed in a big aluminium box become damaged?

Fortunately , unlike many other companies, dCS build their products to last and offer service support for a long time even if no longer in current ranges. It is best if you contact:

They will be able to help.

To be honest, that FFC looks like a custom cable. I would suggest you contact dCS as suggested by Pete, or contact your local dCS Dealer.

I’m curious how that FFC came to be damaged, it’s inside the unit, it can’t get damaged unless it’s been operated on by someone unauthorized.

Hello,

Hopefully my email to you this morning has arrived and we can help you accordingly.

If you see it, please reply and we can determine how to get the part you need.

Thanks
