Hello everyone, I am reaching out to the community to see if anyone has experienced similar issues with their dCS Puccini. Lately, I’ve been hearing persistent clicking and popping noises during playback. It’s starting to interfere with the listening experience, and I’m trying to narrow down the cause.

The Issue: Random clicks and pops (like static or clocking artifacts) during playback.
I am considering upgrading the software to v2.0, as I suspect it might be a clock synchronization or buffering issue that the later firmware addresses.
I have two main questions for the community

Has anyone encountered this “clicking” issue before? If so, was it a software fix, or did it turn out to be a hardware problem (transport/laser or capacitors)?

Regarding the v2.0 update: Does this version require a physical hardware change (new chips/boards), or is it a straightforward update via a software disc? I would love to hear from anyone who has gone through the Puccini upgrade process or dealt with similar sonic artifacts.
