i have been listening to xm radio podcasts and some playlists thru the app on my tv. I find I spend more time in my”music room” which has no tv. just wondering if anyone here has any experience about using apple air play to cast to my vivaldi upsampler (as a network device)? really not interested in a satellite xm device. or just listening on my phone. Any thoughts or experience before I jump down a rabbit hole.?

Not your fault Mike, some of the posts on the forum really gets into the weeds of how things work t the extent that it’s often easy to forget that much of this works quite seamlessly without much thought.
If folks saw the amount of networking stuff that goes on behind the scene in a typical streaming service session, they’d be surprised it actually works at all!
