Oh dear, I think I may have oversold myself a bit. Rest assured I am not burdened with any particular classical acumen (certainly not if you had asked my piano teacher!) although I have listened to an awful lot in my life and I know what I like. However I am sure you have and do too. You don’t need any particular classical acumen to hear the difference between Sullivan’s and Uchida’s approaches and there is a fair chance you will enjoy one or the other more. Give it a try, what do you think?
