Supertramp / Crime of the Century
-in Concert at Hammersmith Odeon 1975-
Mercury Studios, 29 May 2026
Blu-ray

Dolby Atmos/ 5.1/ hi-res stereo

Just prior to embarking on a North American tour in support of their recently released Crime of the Century album, Supertramp played a final show at London’s Hammersmith Odeon on March 9, 1975.

The performance was bookended by the entirety of Crime of the Century with side one opening the show followed by new songs from the upcoming Crisis? What Crisis? album, being introduced for the first time, ending with side 2 of Crime… in sequence.

For the first time, the concert film of this performance with the classic line up of Rick Davies, Roger Hodgson, Dougie Thomson, John A Helliwell and Bob C Benberg (AKA Siebenberg) is being released restored from the original 16mm print and upgraded to high definition.

The audio has been produced by original Crime producer Ken Scott (Abbey Road, The Beatles ‘White Album’, David Bowie’s ‘Ziggy Stardust’, George Harrison’s ‘All Things Must Pass’, Lou Reed’s ‘Transformer’) and features a Dolby Atmos Mix.

Crime of the Century in Concert at Hammersmith Odeon 1975 has been released on the 29 May 2026 via Mercury Studios.

Small request …. It would be great if those of you who are kind enough to post on this feed could also give a view on how the sound is on the version you reference for example c/w other versions you may have or even if it is new. Much appreciated.

I think I do this already.
Also some of us post the DR (dynamic range) of what they’re listening.
If not always relevant, the rule of thumb is: the higher the DR the higher the sound quality (If DR < 6dB the sound quality is most of the time barely average, below 5dB it’s rarely pleasant to listen to…)
