Great thanks to @AndrewS for the discovery of Connor Selby. This seems to be his first album, which is quite enjoyable already!

No reason needed to play this wonderful album on a regular basis.

I agree. Which seems like an ideal opportunity to thank all the contributors to these threads for the great music that they introduce me to. I am in the extremely fortunate position of actually having the time and motivation to listen to much of it as listening to music is a central part of my job!

I know that there are hundreds of places I could find similar recommendations, but coming from forum members (quite a few of whom I’ve had the pleasure to meet in my new role) gives them a special provenance, and the quality, even if some things are not to my taste, is generally incredibly high. Please keep 'em coming!

Mind you, the record isn’t bad from a musical point of view, but the Sound Quality is pure butchery…
How can a mastering engineer do such a job to come with a disc so compressed and muffled?
The low dynamic range says it all.
What a shame.

I love Vivaldi and Alpha records are always top-notch for what concerns recording quality!

EDIT: The voice of Counter-Tenor Paul-Antoine Bénos-Djian is pure enchantment!
