Truly one of the most memorable shows I ever attended - although I did have the benefit of also seeing The Heads at a tiny “space” in Connecticut immediately after their debut was released. Couldn’t have been more than 50 of us in attendance.
Wollman Rink was a great place to see concerts. A bit better than Simon and Garfunkel playing in Central Park in front of 500,000. I was a college student at the time and got off of work and tried to go with my then girlfriend. We walked into the park, saw the confusion, and promptly turned around and went to eat pizza!
