Having heard Anna Lapwood recently on the BBC Proms, I ‘took a punt’ on buying this album on Qobuz (24/96kHz) …

Yes Qobuz MQA ! In this excellent recording with the Paco de Lucias guitarrist live performing in Montreux Jazz Festival in different years , the last in 2012.

Indeed, 24bit 88.2kHz MQA from Qobuz, while Qobuz says it is 24bit 44.1kHz FLAC. Same MQA file as Tidal offers…
Yes, though Qobuz dies not support MQA they are subject to whatever the record company sends them. From what I have read they have raised the issue with at least one label but the response was along the lines of take it or leave it. So there may be more here or there. There are certainly several from the 2L label which has been committed to MQA from the beginning.

Half way through the season and many remarkable concerts. Just listened to the annual Jules Buckley Orchestra concert. This year a reincarnation of the entire Stevie Wonder " Inner visions"album. Astounding.
Those of you lucky enough to live where you can get BBC Sounds you will be able to listen to it and all the other concerts through to the end of October. You can hear it through your big rig using AirPlay .
