What's better - music on a USB stick or a NAS drive?

I ask because when a USB stick is plugged in the back of the Rossini, I feel streaming is not quite as good until I remove the USB stick. I have a NAS drive but have not really used it via the Mosaic app (UPnP).

Should I just copy all music folders from the USB drive to the NAS? I’m doing it anyway as it’s easy and free.

Direct experience would be greatly appreciated. Or if you try it, your observations too.

Playback from your NAS over Ethernet will significantly exceed playback from a USB stick.
