If it’s okay with the admins, I thought it might make sense to have a thread that people can share some sonic impressions.
Unless that messes with the beta version progress.
As for my impressions, I am still listening to various tracks but DSDX4 with Mapper 4 sounds spectacular to my ears. I want to experiment more with Mapper 5 before sharing thoughts.
This is what I am hearing with Quad DSD, 3-1-4 (filter, dsd filter, mapper)
Wider soundstage
More resolution
More natural highs
Better bass
