How to resolve the hissing sound from the speaker when connected to the mcintosh 1.25kw power amps without the dcs vivaldi 2.0 preamp.
Hi Cenk. However I don’t quite understand your issue. I understand that you have your speakers attached to the McIntosh power amp. But you say you have it without the dCS Vivaldi which I am guessing you mean used as a preamp. So what do you have driving the McIntosh ?
Or do you mean that the Vivaldi Is driving the McIntosh directly with no preamp? If so what line voltage is the Vivaldi set to and what output level in -dB are you typically using? I assume connection from Vivaldi to McIntosh is XLR balanced?
Please also advise the McIntosh model that you have.
