I just wonder if upgrade is available on P8i, an old cd player.
My mechanic is so much used and i have some problems to read cd sometimes.

I’ve had a P8i long ago (8 years or so…) and it had problems reading discs. At that time I couldn’t get it repaired. Because the drive was no longer produced, at least so I was told. So I’m not optimistic about this. I then upgraded to a Puccini.
In any case you best ask your local distributor, or contact dCS directly, they will be in the best position to inform you.
