Please remember that what Spotify can do in their own app is not necessarily the same as what we can do in ours as a Spotify partner …however the original query about displaying source format has been noted and escalated to the software team.
Another reason to leave Spotify alone then.
Of course it’s nice to have its long time due lossless support, but for obvious reasons this would be the last of the supported streaming services I would endorse on such high end devices as dCS’s ones.
