Just in case this might be useful for someone someday, I’ve discovered that the remote for my Soulution 720-series preamp, which also can control the Soulution 760-series DAC, shares the same remote codes with my Rossini. At least for on/off, play/pause, and next/previous track. Sadly, it doesn’t seem to control volume or input selection on the Rossini. But still useful, since it beats hauling out “the Plank”.
Input select continues to be the one continuing Rossini annoyance – auto input selection is probably the one feature I wish for most often, since every time I’ve left the Rossini on “network” and the family wants to watch TV (yes, it runs through the Rossini), they need to find the Plank and recall which of the myriad identical buttons is the input selector.
