I sent a private message today to a recently registered member but I now cannot find a way of checking its content. How does one read a copy of messages you have authored?
Pete, click on your name/avatar in the top right, then the envelope icon, followed by the down-arrow. That should take you to your Messaging section with Inbox and Sent items.
