This is great to hear. I am speaking with my local dCS dealer to arrange an in home demo next month. I am expecting it to work well and am excited to test it myself. Thank you for following up.

Dammit Erno, don’t put the thought of buying a Lina headphone amp in my mind. Lol!

Finally got my transport so my system is complete. Also updated my racking and installed a dedicated 20 amp circuit for the sources. Also each amp now has a dedicated 20 amp circuit. System sound amazing!

Wow. Back in the day, Audiogon used to have a section called All Out Assault. Your system certainly qualifies. Amazing!

Absolutely stunning, very many congratulations for such a wonderful system. I love all the black :).

I was thinking of getting the gryphon apex/commander combo here to compare with my current amps but didn’t go for it in the end due to so much hassles involved in logistics and moving these crazy monsters around.

I would love to listen to your system one day if permission granted and compare sacd vs streaming on the varese, should be amazing!

Fabulous.

That’s how you do it if one can. Love the room size, the room itself looks nice, the system, well what can you say, other than Fabulous.

Enjoy

Are those Gryphon Apex Monos + Gryphon Commander? What about the other components, speakers and cables?

I own Gryphon Apex Stereo / Gryphon Commander / Vivaldi (full stack) + Antipodes (streamer only) + Wilson Audio Sasha Daw and love it!

Fabulous system but what are those little boxes with 3 lights on the bottom layer of the rack? Perhaps @demoleon would tell me.

It is a sign of true luxury to provide an HRS platform for an unused interconnect .

Yes Gryphon Apex Monos and Apex Commander preamp. Cables are Transparent XL level. Items along the bottom are Transparent XL power conditioners. The amps have the Opus power conditioners. Transparent XL power cables all around. HRS racking. We re-used some of the platforms from my old rack for the non component items (power conditioners and the empty space on top).

When I went in to the dealer I was after the Wilson Audio Chronosonic XVX (dealer had a pair) but after some listening tests decided to go with the Rockport’s. Both were amazing but I just liked the sound of the Rockport’s better for some reason.

Excellent stuff. If you ever get a chance, try to audition Scherninger cables. I’ve replaced all of my Transparent Audio Opus power cords with these and they transformed my system.

Amazing system, many congratulations

Fabulous system. It must be difficult leaving your home, lol.

I’d have gone the exact same route! (Wilson’s just don’t generally cut it for me). Lovely system you’ve got! :+1:

Hi. Again, amazing system!

Would you mind sharing your thoughts on adding the Transparent power conditioners?

You first posted that you had put in dedicated lines for each amp and I would have thought (perhaps erroneously) that this would have obviated the need

Thank you!
