Yes it is, but i feel it sounds even better at 6 volts than 2 volts, i am not the only one to think this, plus even my dealer told me to run it like this

Agreed - mine at 6v sounds much better
Russell - the key is to leave the Rossini full open with the volume at 0.0
Dunc - congratulations on getting the 552/500 back. Be patient - mine is at 3 months back since being recapped and dr’d and it still is up and down.

Great lol, was hoping about 2 months max.
But on a different note, that i can’t mention on the naim forum, my 552 is going to be used to develop a new burndy cable, it will be a whichhat morgana, and will match the rest off my cables i use.
Looking forward to getting it, as the other morgana cables have certainly been better than the naim.
But it needs running in before it can go
Interesting to hear Witchhat is developing a Burndy. Some friends in the UK have been demoing the new Chord Burndy and are quite impressed with the results. Obviously this has not been mentioned in the Naim forum

Yes will be massively cheaper, about £700 i think, the chord one is around £4k i think ?
