Hi all, long time delius owner here, it’s still going strong and importantly still satisfies.
I’ve spotted a Purcell advertised in the UK but it’s marked 120v on the back panel.
I asked the dealer about using a step down and he said it doesn’t need one.
I asked why but he hasn’t responded.
Any thoughts on this guys?
Thank you.
AFAIK , a 120V unit with a 240V mains supply certainly cannot be used without attention. Accredited dCS dealers should know how to change the internal settings to suit.
It sounds to me as if the dealer has bought the Purcell as a PX item and is not a dCS retailer. I would be suspicious if he does not respond to your query.

Yes it’s a bit strange I’ll leave well alone thank you for your response.
When a unit is voltage converted by us or a distributor then we would insist that the unit also has an updated voltage / serial number plate applied to avoid this confusion so if this unit HAS been voltage converted but the voltage plate not updated then it wasn’t done to the standards we would expect.
