I’m sure others here received the same email I did about Sound Liason’s plan to record Sanne Rambags’ suite inspired by Edvard Munch’s Frieze of Life:
Sunday, December 10, Sound Liaison continues the successful Sunday Jazz Recording Experience series, with a magical live recording session featuring Edison winners Sanne Rambags, Roosmarijn Tuenter, Jeroen van Vliet, and Joost Lijbaart.
Inspired by Edvard Munch’s masterpieces, they’ll bring music to the iconic works of Edward Munch, a unique fusion of art and music.
The Suite premiered at the November Music Festival 2018 and received a glowing review in JazzProg; ‘‘Moments arise where, under the influence of goose bumps and moist eyes, we are driven to the edge of our seats’’.
It is a project that we felt we just had to record, as we are always striving for the impossible goal of making sound visual, hence the name of our label Sound Liaison; The Visual Sound.
The live recording will take place in the legendary Studio 2 in Muziek centrum van de Omroep. Heuvellaan 33, 1217 JL Hilversum, the Netherlands.
Tickets are available at; Sanne Rambags - Muziekcentrum van de Omroep
That sounds very intriguing.
