Hi, I’m new with my Network Bridge and at start I have a problem
I have running Logitech Media Server over picoreplayer raspberry pi. It serve files trough upnp protocol.
In Mosaic app i enter upnp/LogitechMediaServerUpnp/music/artists. I choice one of artists and drop down. I see all his albums. I click on 3 dots over one of those albums and choice “play now”.
At this moment I see a message: “could not add items to playlist. No item were added. (No playitem found).”. When I go inside this album and choice all tracks, click “play now”, all track plays right.
Is there any specific reason you are sticking with Logitech Media Server?
It isn’t a UPnP server that we support or test against - we recommend (and test against) MinimServer and I would suggest giving that a try to identify whether it’s a quirk of LMS that is causing the problem.
Hi Phil, thank You for the reply. I’m using Picoreplayer+LMS over raspberry PI (with SSD drive) for a last few years as NAS for my Allo USBridge Signature + DigiOne Signature transport. It was natural for me to use the same LMS/NAS for dCS NB now
As You suggest, i’ve tried to use other upnp server, particular upnp server on Moodeaudio over raspberry Pi. It works as a rock. I don’t know MinimServer, i have to know this server and i will think about change from Moodeaudio upnp to Minimserver.
Two more question new user
I’ve bought used dCS NB. Is any posibility to make a factory reset?
There is a “Reset Streaming Interface” option in the Network Bridge web interface under “Device Settings” but there isn’t a specific global “factory reset” option.
The Network Bridge does have a connection for a WiFi antenna but WiFi is not actually implemented on the Network Bridge as a means of connecting the Network Bridge to the network - we only support a wired Ethernet connection.
Phil, Hubert
There is a thread (sorry I forgot to bookmark it and can’t find it now) about how some routers will automatically disconnect devices after a period of time. I have found this with mine (and can’t disable the “feature”); if I leave the NB powered up, even with the router on, the NB will be unresponsive the next day when I come to use it and there is no way to “poke it” to make it come live, i.e. Mosaic can’t see it. Therefore I always power it down now; it only takes 5 mins max. for it to reconnect and work when powered up next time.
