Where are the playlists I create in Mosaic stored?

Is there a way to back them up?

Hi Miguel. Mosaic playlists are stored on the device, i.e. the DAC. I am not aware of any way to back them up.

I figured this must have been the case since I can see a playlist I created on one device on another device.

Miguel, @Phil responded to a similar question recently. Although not specifically about backups the subject is effectively the same. You cannot do this at present but the software team are aware of the problem and , I surmise, should find a solution.
