As I’m looking at getting a Vivaldi system I’ve read a lot about filter settings etc. Can you use the mosaic app on your iPad to change all settings or do you need to do it on the units? Do most people use mosaic for qubuz vs using qubuz connect?
Hi, you can use Mosaic for all the settings from the comfort of your listening chair.
As long as you have the vivaldi upsampler you will be fine.
You can then adjust the dac and upsampler settings, etc. It can’t control the clock.
Cottect but if @wdh777 is concerned over this I would explain that there are few clock controls and they are basically set and forget ( or just use the default settings).

Yes, control of Vivaldi remotely via Mosaic is pretty comprehensive.
I do use Qobuz Connect but not exclusively. I sometimes find that I prefer its GUI but it has its own quirks. No sonic advantage as the music data itself does not pass through Mosaic either. It just requests the file from Qobuz . Currently most of my listening is to BBC Radio 3 for the live concerts anyway. That requires Mosaic with the airable selection. In the UK that results in BBC as AAC 320 kbs. A surprisingly good subjective result. The Beeb has good engineers.
