Well it’s because of the headphone amp built in. The elegance of a ultra high performance one box system has value. The Rossini does sound better in my speaker system. However I’ve always preferred headphones. I’m moving the Rossini to headphone so I’m sure I’ll “survive” with the complexity of three boxes.
They’re both great. I have some problem with my left ear so headphones sometimes lately have been uncomfortable. Having a nice speaker system is worthwhile to me. Mostly because my daughter and I used to listen to music together. Now she’s almost 16 and… I apparently don’t understand anything. Sigh…

To follow up this thead, my reseller went home with the Bartok, and I could realise how much organic it was; I ordered one, with the headphone amp 
I am on my way to hearing only the music, in my living room… Thank you
