As many of you know, dCS publishes a number of blogs on our website at The dCS Edit. Currently these include Classical Choices (my personal favorite!) curated by Charlotte Gardner, New Music curated by Sharon O’Connell and our Studio Radicals series celebrating artists, engineers and producers who are pushing their craft to bring listeners exciting and original new sounds.
The way you access the playlists for these via Mosaic differs slightly between Qobuz and TIDAL:
Classical Choices and New Music are available on Qobuz. To listen to these on your dCS system do the following:
- Click on the Qobuz button in the blog entry for the relevant episode. This will open up the playlist in Qobuz.
- Click on Subscribe (heart icon).
- In Mosaic you can now find it by going to Qobuz/Playlists.
All of the above playlists are published on TIDAL (along with lots of others from previous series). To listen to these on your dCS system do the following:
- Click on the TIDAL button in the blog entry for the relevant episode. This will open up the playlist in TIDAL. (You can also search for ‘dCS Audio’ in TIDAL via the web or app and all of our playlists will come up).
- Click on Add to my collection (heart icon).
- In Mosaic you can now find it by going to TIDAL/My Music/Playlists.
Just for the avoidance of confusion, please note that playlists you (or others) have created in Qobuz or TIDAL are not the same as Mosaic playlists and will not appear if you press the (Mosaic) Playlists button third from the left at the bottom of the screen in the Mosaic app. Playlists you create in Mosaic are stored in the dCS device itself and while the tracks may come from a streaming service that streaming service knows nothing about the Mosaic playlist.
