Tareq, the combination absolutely does work. Thats what I used to run in my Study for over a year before the combination got replaced with a Bartok.
A couple of caveats though;
- You do need a Neutrik balanced XLR to BNC adapter
- Obviously two pairs of [cables], an XLR pair, and BNC pair.
- Dual AES between the dCS NwB and Chord Dave are compatible as long as you’re listening to high bit rate streams (96kS/s and above). Redbook tracks would output as mono on Dave via Dual AES from the NwB, and so I had an additional S/PDIF interconnect between the two to switch to for redbook streams.
