Just as dCS Mosaic works with Qobuz, Tidal and Spotify might it be able to work with the new classical and jazz Presto Streaming Service?
No . The service would need to be added to Mosaic by dCS and they would need sufficient interest from dCS owners in order to assess if the considerable cost of doing this is viable.
Of course you may be able to access the service outside of Mosaic using their own player via e.g a USB connected computer.
I think Mosaic will probably consider the new MQA based streaming service by HDTracks. It makes sense based on how many users are expected to sign up and also because MQA and dCS worked so closely on what some consider the ideal MQA implementation.
Thanks for that news. Looks like MQA lives on!
it only makes sense based on how many users actually sign up. There may be rights issues to be solved which relate to the territories it might be available to. This is important as HD Tracks are fundamentally a download vendor with experience of failure outside of N. America. BTW they announced a similar venture originally in late 2016 if I remember, but it never came to fruition.
I think it premature to raise expectations of the involvement of Mosaic.
Iām making an educated guess based on knowing well and helping David Chesky in the past as well as knowing the talent pool at Lenbrook and the built-in audience they have.
