Mosaic 1.2: TIDAL Connect, Transport Controls and more
As part of our ongoing commitment to product development, we’ve made some updates to our Mosaic streaming firmware and the dCS Mosaic Control app.
The release of Mosaic 1.2 brings two new features for dCS owners, plus a range of minor improvements designed to aid performance, enhance user experience, and reflect recent upgrades to partner services.
What’s new
TIDAL Connect: The dCS Mosaic firmware has been updated to support TIDAL Connect. If you’re a TIDAL subscriber, this means you can now cast music direct to your dCS device and perform basic operations such as play, skip, pause and volume adjust from within the TIDAL app. Other TIDAL subscribers in your home can also cast direct from TIDAL to your dCS system without having to download the dCS Mosaic Control app.
Whilst it’s still possible to navigate your TIDAL library from within the Mosaic app, this new feature is designed to provide a simplified experience for those who enjoy listening to music exclusively through TIDAL.
Transport Controls: If you own a dCS Rossini Transport, Rossini Player, Vivaldi Transport, or Vivaldi One system, you can now use the dCS Mosaic app to play, pause and skip tracks on your Transport device, making it easier than ever to manage playback when listening to standard or Super Audio CDs.
We’ve also made some minor adjustments to meet our streaming partners’ latest technical and visual requirements, address bugs and issues affecting a small number of devices, and ensure that Mosaic continues to deliver the best possible performance, however you choose to listen.
How to download Mosaic 1.2
dCS Mosaic 1.2 is compatible with the following dCS products:
- Vivaldi One
- Vivaldi Upsampler
- Rossini DAC
- Rossini Player
- Network Bridge
- Bartok DAC
- Bartok DAC with Headphone Output
You can download Version 1.2 of the Mosaic Control app from the App Store or Google Play. (Minimum system requirements: Android 6.0 / iOS 11). Click here to download Mosaic 1.2 for Android or here to download Mosaic for iOS.

TO ENSURE A SMOOTH UPDATE WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND POWER CYCLING YOUR dCS DEVICE USING THE REAR PANEL SWITCH PRIOR TO INSTALLING THE MOSAIC 1.2 UPDATE.
