I got the player and clock at the same time secondhand and at a very good price, that is why.
Don’t get me wrong, its handy to have, but at the same time wasted on me, as i have ripped all my cd’s, using a melco transport into a melco N10, so that I have access to them all, all round the house, plus i haven’t got them all cluttering up my room, as my vinyl takes care off that lol.
But a vivaldi one, with the clock built in, instead of the transport would be a much better product for many people these days i think, along with the rossini? Maybe will might see such a product in the future, especially with the transports becoming a big problem to get

I don’t think CD transports will be hard to find anytime soon, but SACD transports, like the one in the Vivaldi One… much more likely.
