Aurender N20 clocked

Yes Conductor does not affect the sound quality, just asking if there is a difference with Roon.

Anyway, enjoy

Are you using Roon with an Aurender transport?

Cool! What is your Roon server?

I stopped using Roon some time ago, but I have a lifetime account and may start it back up someday. My Nucleus+ died and that’s when I stopped using Roon.

I use a Fanless i7 Windows11 pc with a better server card.
This is an older picture.
You can also place the SSDs in the Aurender and place your music on them. You still need your own Roon server. The Roon own core is not my thing, not enough speed/stability.

:+1:what DAC are you using?

Vivaldi DAC and Vivaldi Clock (the clock is also connected with the N20)

thanks Ruud, so why no Upsamper than (isn’t it same price range like the N200)?

No, it’s the N20, not the N200. The upsampler is almost 2.5x more expensive. And I don’t really want to upsample. Or is that an excuse because I can’t afford it, ha ha. I am very happy with the Aurender N20.

where is your music stored? on Aurender or on roon server ? just thinking about the music path…

Through my Bartok the Aurender N20 via AES/UBS was better than the Nucleus+/Roon. I’d now wonder how Roon would be through the Aurender (I no longer don’t have a Core machine to use Roon).

The music is on my Windows computer, direct with Roon server on the same pc.

I assume you have a computer. So I would say just install Roon and try it out.
